CHEST PAIN POEM

(Sing this to the tune of “Mary Had A Little Lamb”)

There’s a pain inside my chest

         What a pest

         I need a rest’

I put my pill under my tongue

         Now it’s gone away.

______________________________

My friends all tell me not to smoke

         What a joke

         I need a toke,

Someone took my cigarettes

         And hid my good ash-tray.

______________________________

Today I must exert my will

         Walk treadmill

         Up a hill,

I’ll find if I can exercise

         Put nitro on the shelf.

______________________________

The truth is that I passed this phase

         The Lord I praise

         I’ll change my ways,

I’ll even trim my diet back

So I can keep my health.
